APRI is dedicated to understanding and preventing neuropathologies that cause excessive distress in humans and non-human animals. Our mainstays are rigorous, evidence-based research and practical innovation.

 

Our teams span scientific, technical, and administrative disciplines and are currently focused on selectively breeding shrimp and chickens for improved health and affective welfare.

Location: Remote (US preferred), with occasional travel to partners’ sites (US or EU) for research roles. The more working hours overlap with 9am - 5pm CT, the better.

• Common requirements (having all of them not required):

  • PhD in directly relevant fields; MSc with additional experience

  • Relevant publications in peer-reviewed journals

  • Collaboration with animal genetics & breeding industries

  • Scientific rigor & integrity
